Bahrain International Cir- cuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Mid-
dle East’, is gearing up for two unforgettable days of racing and entertainment at this year’s Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bah- rain.
The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on 7 and 8 November in Sakhir as the eighth and final round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
As in every major interna- tional event at BIC, plenty has been lined up both on and off the track for the whole family to enjoy. These include a colourful entertainment programme that features something for every- one – put together in signature BIC style.
Headlining the attractions at this year’s WEC weekend is a series of extreme stunt shows. World-famous stuntmen Ter- ry Grant and Lee Bowers are coming back to Bahrain to amaze fans yet again with their mind-blowing performances. The pair have put on displays of incredible driving stunts to au- diences around the world, and with their own performance area at BIC’s WEC fan zone, they are surely set to be one of the top draws throughout the week-end.
Grant and Bowers will be joined in captivating the crowds by freestyle motocross (FMX) stunt bikers, who will be stun- ning fans with their incredible performances on two wheels.
BIC will also be hosting a mon- ster truck show throughout the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bah- rain weekend. This is a visual spectacle like no other, and fans will not only get the chance to see these amazing machines in action.
BETTER KNOW
Every ticket purchased for the 8 Hours of Bahrain helps fund the planting of mangrove trees, with last year’s campaign resulting in 5,000 new mangroves for Bahrain’s environment
to get into one of the trucks for a passenger ride, making for a truly memorable and immersive experience.
Aside from the stunt shows, plenty more entertainment will be on hand on both days of WEC weekend. These include roaming performers coming from all over the world, an exclusive kids’ outdoor area with live shows and all kinds of fun activities, state-of-the- art racing simulators, a speed reaction game, and so much more.
BIC is calling on race fans across the Kingdom to purchase their tickets today for the WEC showcase, which will bring to life the Spirit of Le Mans in Sakhir.
WEC is one of the most pres- tigious series in all of motor racing, featuring many of the sport’s biggest star drivers and some of the fastest and most technologically advanced cars from the most sought-after brands.
Tickets to the event offer tremendous value for an occa- sion of its calibre – rates that cannot be matched anywhere else in the world for a world championship event under the
Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). Grandstand seats cost just BD5.5 for adults and BD2.75 for children for both days of racing and family enter- tainment. They can be bought online at bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973- 17450000.
Fans are urged to secure their tickets as soon as possible due to high demand, especially with the WEC’s growing popularity amongst fans both from Bahrain and worldwide.
Hospitality packages are also available to enjoy the event from BIC’s luxurious suites. These are priced at BD290 per person, ex- cluding VAT, for the two days. The package is inclusive of din- ing and drinks, all in a first-class setting of the circuit’s lounge which overlooks the WEC pit- lane and main straight. A group rate of BD2,800 for 10 people is also on offer.
All tickets purchased will make a lasting impact off the track as BIC and Bapco Ener- gies are collaborating again to bring back the ground-breaking Green Ticket Initiative.
For every WEC ticket sold, a proportion of the revenue, matched by Bapco Energies, will be donated to a fund which will directly support the plant- ing of new mangroves in Bah- rain. BIC recently completed the donation of 5,000 new mangrove trees based on last year’s Green Ticket Initiative campaign.
Bapco Energies is marking a special milestone at this year’s Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary as title sponsors of the race, which also features Beyon as a support partner.
