Students showcased creative performances that aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). One of the highlights of the day was a powerful dance skit addressing the modern issue of mobile phone addiction.

Through expressive movement and emotion, students delivered a heartfelt message — that today’s youth are tomorrow’s torchbearers of change, capable of turning global challenges into hope and progress.

Principal’s Message: Building a Mindful, Peaceful World

Principal Mrs. Vandana Sateesh shared an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of peace, collaboration, and mindful living in today’s interconnected world.

She also praised Bahrain’s global leadership in education, highlighting His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s initiative — the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for the Use of ICT in Education — which recognizes innovation in promoting inclusive and equitable learning worldwide.

Empowering Youth for Global Change

The celebration beautifully encapsulated the United Nations’ vision of collective progress and reaffirmed New Horizon School’s mission to empower its students to transform global ideals into meaningful community action.

It was not just an event — it was a reminder that every young person holds the power to make the world more peaceful, inclusive, and united.
