Bahrain Makes History with Largest Female Team at AYG
Record number of girls to compete at the 3rd Asian Youth Games

Bahrain is set to achieve a historic milestone in women’s sports with its largest-ever female delegation at the 3rd Asian Youth Games (AYG), taking place from October 22–31.
54 Girls, 15 Sports
The Bahraini team will feature 54 girls competing across 15 sports, including:
- Athletics
- Swimming
- Badminton
- Table Tennis
- Taekwondo
- Equestrian
- Triathlon
- Volleyball
This strong representation highlights the steady growth of women’s sports in the Kingdom.
